If you've been doing SEO for your site, you'd realize by now that the whole backlink thing is one of the most difficult things you've ever encountered.

You initially thought it was easy. Sign up with a couple of blogs, get some backlinks in, register for a few forums, throw in a few backlinks here and there.

But of course after awhile you find that all your efforts are futile.
