Do's and Don'ts of Buying Backlinks

So you've decided to purchase backlinks. Knowing full well it'll do wonders for your Google page ranking.

And knowing that if you buy backlinks, you'll be ahead of the game when it comes to doing SEO for your website.

But before you actually rush headlong into the whole backlink purchasing, it's best to keep an eye out for certain things.

To help you out on your backlink journey, here's a list of dos and don't when buying backlinks on the internet.

THE DO's

• DO get backlinks from credible sites. Make sure you do a background check on the company you're buying from before parting with your hard earned money
• DO set a budget before buying. Be realistic about how much you can spend on backlinks. No point spending every last cent on backlinks and then realizing you should have diversified.
• Do buy in moderation. Don't buy like 100,000 backlinks all in one day and expect Google to believe you actually got so many people backlinking to you within 24 hours. Spread out the backlinks and make it look more natural
• DO buy different types of backlinks. The key is to diversify. Don't just buy blog comments. Or just concentrate on forum profiles. Get different types from different sources. Mix them all up and add in some of your own manually done backlinks
• DO pick your keywords and urls properly. The last thing you want is to buy backlinks and realize you put in words with wrong spellings, or worse, broken URLs

The DON'Ts

• DON'T ever trust people too easily on the internet. Get proof and samples before buying backlink packages. Always insist on a full report when they're done with whatever backlinks they promised
• DON'T be fooled by low prices and promotions. Ever hear of the term .. what you pay is what you get? If something is too good to be true, it probably is.
• DON'T buy backlinks from people who promise you 100% that they'll get you on the first page of Google. There's no such thing as a 100% guarantee. We try our best in whatever we do.
• DON'T buy anything without doing research. Make sure you know what you need for your business and draw up a backlink plan that best suits your business model.
